A Tactical Memory should be judged by the battle you are trying to improve, not by rarity or one large number alone. Start with the stat name and its scope, then compare the value shown by your current game under the same battle conditions. Community examples identify several stat families but do not establish a complete, reproducible roll formula.

Quick answer

Choose a stat that matches the action or threat you can observe. Normal, Combo, Counter, Skill, and Boss damage are different scopes. Their reduction counterparts are also separate labels. Recovery rolls answer another problem entirely. If the current game does not explain how a broad label applies, do not invent a formula from its name.

Use the Combat Guide to fix the battle, opponent, Partner and other support systems before changing a Memory. One controlled change is more useful than comparing two completely different setups.

How to read a Tactical Memory

Read the current detail panel in this order:

  1. Stat label: identify the exact action, incoming damage or recovery term.
  2. Scope: note whether it names Normal, Combo, Counter, Skill, Boss or Pet.
  3. Rarity: record the rarity displayed on the item; do not treat it as a complete performance verdict.
  4. Level: compare rolls at the same upgrade level whenever possible.
  5. Displayed value: copy the unit and decimal precision exactly as shown.
  6. Battle context: record mode, opponent, game version and temporary effects before testing.

The wording matters. Boss Damage does not automatically describe every PvE battle, and Skill Damage Reduction should not be silently expanded to all incoming damage.

Use the structured index to identify the purpose of a roll. The image retains the original reference values, while the guide avoids presenting those values as a verified universal range.

Damage stats

The reviewed reference separates Normal, Combo, Counter, Skill and Boss damage. That separation is useful because a roll can look strong while doing little for the action used by your current setup.

  • Prefer Normal Damage only after confirming the battle records the action as normal damage.
  • Compare Combo Damage and Counter Damage in battles where those events occur often enough to observe.
  • Read Skill Damage beside the current active skill text and cooldown.
  • Use Boss Damage for a boss comparison only when the current game uses the same label or shows a measurable change in that encounter.

Do not add these labels together as if they were interchangeable parts of one universal damage percentage. The available image does not establish stacking, rounding or multiplication rules.

Reduction and recovery stats

The same scope check applies to defensive rolls. Normal, Combo, Counter, Skill, Pet and Boss Damage Reduction are individually named. A separate Reduction row is visible, but the image does not define its target or relationship to the more specific rows. Treat it as unresolved until the current item description or a controlled test explains it.

HP Recovery and HP Regen Value also appear as separate labels. Their names alone do not prove whether one affects an instant heal, a periodic effect, a flat amount or a percentage. Record the exact in-game description and compare the same recovery event before drawing that conclusion.

Rarity and level

The reviewed image includes UR and GR examples at Lv.0 and Lv.20. That is not a complete rarity ladder, an upgrade-cost table or proof that every roll follows the same growth curve. Compare two Memories only when rarity, level and stat scope are all visible.

Before spending a limited material, capture the current Memory screen and the upgrade preview. The Training Guide provides the same resource-safety principle for Food, Training, Bond and other growth systems.

Safe comparison routine

Use a short repeatable test:

  1. Pick one battle with a consistent opponent and difficulty.
  2. Record the full setup and the result you care about, such as survival or clear time.
  3. Replace only one Tactical Memory or compare the same Memory before and after an upgrade.
  4. Repeat the battle enough times to notice variation.
  5. Keep the result tied to that mode, version and setup.

For team-level decisions, continue with the Team Building Guide. It explains how to keep Partner, Supporter, Buddy, SP Support and Skill Card changes separate from Memory tests.

Limits and FAQ

What is the best Tactical Memory stat?

There is no verified universal answer. Match the stat scope to the action or threat that matters in the battle you are testing.

Is GR always better than UR?

The reviewed image shows examples for both rarities, but it does not establish a complete item-quality rule. Compare the current stat, level and effect shown on each item.

What does the general Reduction stat do?

Its exact scope is not confirmed by the reviewed image. Do not equate it with every named damage-reduction category without current game text or a controlled test.

Why are the image ranges not presented as verified current data?

The image is provided as a community reference, but its values have not been independently reproduced across current items, regions and versions. Use the current Memory detail and upgrade preview for decisions on your account.
